Meet the team – Océane

Once a month, read the profile of a JPAC team member and discover the various roles that make up the company!

This week, we introduce you to Océane Razafinony, Sales Assistant ADV and ADA within the team.

What is your role at JPAC?

I am a Sales Assistant ADV and ADA at JPAC.

What does a Sales Assistant ADV and ADA do?

My role is to manage customer orders administratively, ensure follow-up and logistics, and monitor customer satisfaction. I work in the sales department and collaborate with the product and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.

In sales, I am also responsible for supporting the commercial development of JPAC.

What skills are required for your role?

You need to be organized, meticulous, and responsive to manage multiple files at once. Good communication is also essential to interact with the various departments and clients.

Can you tell us about your professional background?

I obtained a degree in Applied Foreign Languages with a focus on International Trade, followed by a Master’s degree in Business Engineering (through a work-study program). Through this program, I gained experience in the agri-food sector, commercial logistics, and customer relations.

Why did you decide to work in the agri-food sector?

The agri-food sector is dynamic and impacts everyone on a daily basis. I like the idea of contributing to such an essential field, where quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

What does a typical day look like for you?

My day starts with managing orders and their follow-up. Then I handle communications with clients and carriers, as well as administrative processing. Depending on urgent matters, I may also work on more specific topics related to ADV.

What motivates you in your work? What drives you?

I enjoy the contact with clients and the satisfaction of seeing a project successfully completed from start to finish. Finding solutions and contributing to the smooth running of operations motivates me daily.

Do you have an anecdote to share about your work?

During a recent crisis management drill at JPAC, an unexpected event revealed not only our ability to respond to emergencies but also our teamwork. One colleague in particular was directly involved in the situation, but it quickly became clear how ready each team member was to act.

Personally, even though I was not directly concerned by the situation, I was fully involved in resolving the crisis. This drill, although stressful at first, turned into something lighter thanks to the initiative of our product and quality director. She had the original idea of pretending to be a customer and filing a fake complaint to test our reactions.

The initial pressure quickly faded once we realized it was a drill, and this moment—both professional and fun—strengthened our ability to work under pressure while maintaining a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. This experience once again proved that, at JPAC, team spirit and effective handling of unexpected situations are at the core of our values.

Why did you choose to work at JPAC?

JPAC is a growing company with strong values. The work environment is dynamic and stimulating, and the products are of high quality, which makes you want to get involved. The team is supportive and encourages us to take on daily challenges.
